Event Intern at byStudents (Studenterhuset)
37 hours/week
As an intern at byStudents, you will become a key part of the team behind some of the Student House’s most exciting activities. You will have the opportunity to leave your mark on both events and collaborations across the student community.
You may, among other things, help develop and plan initiatives such as theme parties, career events, volunteer events, KU Festival, Futurists Network, and the International Student Survival Guide – as well as contribute to our collaborations with external partners and new projects we create along the way.
Develop and execute events that bring students together
- Plan exciting new events with our partners.
- Plan and carry out welcome and community-building activities where new students feel at home from day one.
- Think creatively in concept development – from idea and theme to experience and evaluation.
- Create the framework for social gatherings, community, and unforgettable experiences for students.
Project development from idea to reality
- Take part in the entire process: idea development, concept descriptions, budgeting, timeline planning, and execution.
- Contribute to funding applications and partnerships that bring new projects to life.
- Coordinate volunteers and collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We are not looking for a specific academic background, but we imagine that you are creative, solution-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with many tasks at once. You should be able to write clearly in both Danish and English and have a flair for visual communication. Most importantly, you are motivated to work with volunteers and create strong frameworks for our community.
What you get with us
- Significant influence and responsibility from day one – with guidance from experienced colleagues
- A hands-on daily work life where you both plan and execute
- Insight into the operations of a vibrant student house and volunteer community
- The opportunity to build your portfolio and document results
