Futures Literacy is the ability to envision the future in different ways, critically assess dominant perceptions of the future, and constructively engage with opportunities and challenges. This is what we practice in our network, Futurists byStudents.
Creative, systemic thinking fosters a hopeful approach to future scenarios that we genuinely wish to live our lives in. Futures Literacy provides input for proactive and targeted efforts towards achieving those scenarios.
About Futurists byStudents:
During the spring semester 2024 50 students attended the course series Futures Lab byStudents. We applied tools used by Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies and explored how both people, organizations and institutions can operate in uncertainty.
Through Futurists byStudents we will keep this unique learning environment alive and sustain meaningful engagement in the foresight field among fellow students. Here curiosity leads which themes we dive into, critical questions are appreciated and good vibes guaranteed.
