Each time, there is a small theme prepared – just to break the ice (e.g., Food, Hobbies, etc.), but everyone can contribute to the conversation. It’s a fantastic way to practice languages while making new friends from all over the world.
Anyone who wants to learn or practice the language can participate. It’s free, and you just need to show up.
Registration is not required.
As a volunteer, you’ll host a table where you’ll get to chat with others in Danish – or another language you’re fluent in.
Teaching experience is not required – all you need to do is talk to people. Each shift lasts 3 hours. It’s a requirement that you’re a student and that you can take at least one shift per month.
As a volunteer at Studenterhuset, you’ll receive a range of benefits, such as free coffee, special discounts at the bar, free access to all Studenterhuset concerts, and a large network of volunteers from all over the world.
