When you move in, check-in is on Saturdays between 14-16 – except for the first week of September*. Here you receive welcome information, your key etc.

Check out is Saturday between 11-12. At this time, we’ll check that your locker is empty and you’ll return your key. Then we’ll refund your deposit. If you need to check out earlier, let us know, and we’ll find a good place for you to leave your key.
*If you’re booking a bed for the first week of September, the check-in won’t be until Sunday September 1! It’ll still be from 14-16. This is because we won’t have access to the building before this. The booking system will tell you to book from August 31 but we’ll return the money for the first night together with your deposit.

About Startup Housing
It can be difficult to find student housing in Copenhagen during the typically 4-5 weeks that pass from the time you are admitted to an education until the education starts. And it is especially difficult if you do not know Copenhagen or Denmark.
Therefore, as part of the municipality’s student city policy, the City of Copenhagen has decided to make a temporary “roof over your head” offer at the start of the semester. Read more about the project here:
https://studieby.kk.dk/bolig-su/startup-housing
Studenterhuset and byStudents are responsible for the rental and operation of Startup Housing. We are a student-led association that works for better conditions for Danish and international students in Copenhagen.
We hope that you will also visit our student and cultural centre in Købmagergade 52, where we arrange activities, debates and concerts for students. See activity calendar HERE
